San Marcos, Georgetown, and Cedar Park among fastest growing U.S. cities.
SAN MARCOS, Texas -- The U.S. Census Bureau named San Marcos the fastest-growing city in the country for the third consecutive year.
Its estimated population is nearly 58,900. The city has roughly doubled since 1990.
Austin's growing population is forcing people to move to surrounding areas.
Georgetown is the second fastest-growing city. New Braunfels came in at No. 13 and Cedar Park came in at No. 24.
